The Rivermead Leisure complex is a 25 min walk or an easy cycle/drive away from Luscinia View.
The centre has a wide range of facilities such as:
- Four floodlit astroturf 5-a-side football pitches available for hire throughout the day and evening (This area can also be set up for hockey if required)
- 10 badminton courts available to book on a daily basis
- 4 table-tennis tables available at various times throughout the day
- 3 squash courts available at the centre, complete with a viewing area
- Multi-sport arena featuring the badminton courts
- Basketball court and 2 volleyball courts
- Bowls hall used by Rivermead Indoor Bowls Club from September to April each Year (this very successful club operates the six rink green which is also available to non-members to use at certain times by arrangement)
- Lagoon pool primarily designed as a fun pool with a gently sloping beach area
- Small baby pool with a slide alongside the main pool
