The centre’s climbing routes and boulder problems are the most important part of providing a great facility for climbers. They pride ourselves on providing regularly re-set routes and problems, using up to date holds and set by some of the UK’s top route setters.
They offer a great spread of grades, from entry-level climbs for new and young climbers, through to top-end test pieces to challenge even the strongest. You will always find a spread of grades which best reflects a climbers’ abilities and is welcoming to all. Although not close to Luscinia View the transport links are excellent. Reading Climbing Centre has great road and public transport links. The M4, A329(M) and A33 are just minutes away. Also, travelling to them by bus is easy too; from Reading town centre, get on the 6 or 6a buses from Station Road to Basingstoke Road/Elgar Road South. There is ample free car parking on site.
